Project Director - Pubs, Bars, Restaurants

The Company:

We are working with a leading refurbishment and fit-out contractor who are long established and really well respected.
They have excellent relationships with their clients that means the majority of their work is repeat, negotiated business.
They are cash rich, typically make double digit margins on their projects, have an excellent supply chain who they pay promptly and treat with respect (we know this from our own experience of working with them!), staff turnover is also very low as people like working there.

The Role:

As part of their planned growth, they are now establishing a new stand-alone leisure division and want to recruit a Project Director to lead it.
They have a number of established clients in this sector so it’s a case of building on these relationships and developing new clients too whilst ensuring the quality of work is kept at the required standard.
The nature of the schemes are relatively small value (up to £1 Million), fast paced, high standard to minimise disruption to clients’ operations.

The role is office based with visits to sites and clients where and when required - you will be responsible for managing your own diary.
You will also be supported in your role by a very experienced Commercial Director and the other Company Directors.
Maintain close working relationship with the client and design team to assist in the success of the project.
Liaise with Contracts Management to review and monitor project costs whilst achieving high standards of quality and health and safety.

You:

They would like to recruit a Senior Operations Manager who has operated at Project Director/Contract Manager/Operations Manager working on the refurbishment, fit out and extension of pubs, bars, restaurants and a good understanding of this sector.
You will be based in or be able to commute to North West of England
You will be familiar with Construction Contracts.

Rewards:

You will receive a good salary and a benefits package including a bonus scheme that rewards endeavour and family-friendly benefits.
You will be working with a company who can provide a challenging and supportive working environment, who have a really healthy pipeline of work, a very healthy balance sheet who value and support their staff.
Excellent opportunities for progression in a highly successful and multi award winning business.
