We are working with a Regional Building Contractor who have grown consistently over the last few years and are capable of taking on construction projects valued up to £10 Million for a varied client base which are almost exclusively based in the North West of England.
They are privately owned, profitable and are active in a number of market sectors including; education, healthcare, leisure, extra care, residential, commercial and industrial.
In addition to securing work via good relationships with public and private sector clients they have a number of their own developments on site.
They have already secured their turnover target for this year and are looking at another year of growth for next year.
The Role:
This contractor provides really good support and training to help you to be successful in your career with a Senior Management team who have joined from a variety of top tier contractors who are keen to pass on their knowledge.
Typical duties can include:
1. Subcontract management
2. Internal and external valuations
3. Subcontract final accounts
4. Document management and control
5. Completing take offs
6. Issuing payment notices
7. Placement and tracking of subcontract orders
You:
They would like to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their small, friendly Commercial team based in Greater Manchester.
They are also keen to speak with candidates who are in their last year of a Quantity Surveying Degree
You will be IT literate and have an understanding of construction contracts.
They have a really good training and development programme that has seen a number of their junior QSs progress into QS and Snr QS roles.
