Our client, a leading global consultancy with a prominent presence in the UK construction sector, is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their Northern team.
This role involves working closely with main contractors on major projects, particularly within the MOD sector, coordinating the design process to ensure successful outcomes.
This is a permanent position with the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing for a mix of remote duties and site visits across the North.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in main contracting and extensive knowledge of design processes related to large-scale projects.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Proven experience in a Design Manager role within the construction industry.
- Background with main contractors, demonstrating a solid understanding of the construction process.
- Experience delivering projects within MOD sector (Desirable not essential)
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
This role offers an attractive salary range of £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, along with a fantastic additional benefits package that includes;
