Site Manager - Permanent

Our client is a multi-regional contractor with a turnover of over £50m, they operate across a range of sectors including, PRS, Care Homes, Student Accommodation, Hotels and Leisure. They now seek to recruit a Site Manager to work on schemes up to the value of £15m, with the initial project being a Care Home scheme based in North Lancashire.



Job Specification

• Having worked in a main contractor environment you will have demonstrable experience of overseeing projects valued from £5m to £15m
• You will be skilled in motivating and co-ordinating site teams, site programming, liaising with external representatives involved in the project including designers, consultants, client representatives and local authorities
• Responsible for the day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints
• Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager
• Carry out tool box briefings to the site teams and sub-contractors
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations on site



Qualifications / Experience

Suitable applicants will be strong Managers with experience of working on similar projects. Involvement of new build schemes is essential as is the ability to build and motivate site teams to deliver to schemes to a high standard. Coming from a joinery background would be advantageous.
