Planner

The Company

Leading Regional Construction Group who are active in a number of construction sectors and are looking to continue their growth in the North West of England with this key appointment.
They are cash rich, multi award winning and really well thought of by their clients and particularly their supply chain who they work with collaboratively.
Typical projects are generally constructed for Private and Public Sector clients and are generally either commercial, retail, residential, education or industrial in nature within Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire or Greater Manchester.

The Role

They now want to recruit an experienced Planner in to their NW Construction team due to them having a really healthy pipeline of work due to commence in later 2019.

Reporting in to the Regional Director typical duties will include;

Analyse construction methodologies looking for areas of improvement.
Liaise with the Client and their representatives on Planning matters.
Prepare tender programmes.
Attend client interviews and meetings where you will explain programmes and methodology.
Prepare master programmes, updating progress and forecasting completions.
Identify and mitigate risk whilst ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental considerations are taken in to account.
Work with the Planning team to identify and champion Best Practice.

Requirements

You will have worked in a Planning role previously for a building contractor.
You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West daily.
IT literate with experience using specialist planning software.
